Retired Canadian with an unhealthy interest in US politics. Also religion, cults, conspiracies & science, and how they influence politics. I’m an amateur singer, guitarist & actor. I love classic rock in general and The Beatles in particular.
Is it cool, though? A flood of uncurated music every day? And Spotify just keeps feeding you the same shit you already like. Who is going to hear all this new stuff?

This is really depressing to read. I can’t fathom women telling an unhappy woman that her happiness is unimportant, and that she must spend the rest of her life trying to make her husband happy. But maybe they’re miserable too, and why should this woman get to escape if they can’t?

In retrospect making it the B side seems insane

Why is everyone pretending that Trump has read the bill, or that he’s even capable of doing so?

Wait. What?

All Dems need to be out there doing this. Preferably in a public setting, with media present and able to ask questions - which in itself will remind voters how Dems are different

Hah, well that’s that then. You have to agree to foreclosure, the same way you have to agree to follow the speed limit or pay for groceries. If you don’t agree, then laws don’t apply to you and everything is free.

And W Bush may have been bumbling, unqualified and easily manipulated, but he wasn’t actually evil.
