I wrote this as a reminder to myself when I’m becoming too pessimistic about the world. Despair builds no movements. Hope however builds entire futures.

Little hen and stars. Just finished Soda City. I had low expectations for a cold day but people showed up! Thankful for the sun!

New art. Let’s see how it goes on Instagram. It’s hard when pieces don’t favor well with comments and likes. I hate that it affects me. I hate that I spend hours on something and can’t just be proud of it and leave it at that.

This week… not so productive. Battling perimenopausal mood issues :( plus a medication change and not to mention the terror in the news I can’t seem to avoid. Next week will better… right??!?

This week’s accomplishments. It felt like a good week to focus on the silly.

We can stop reading the NYT and WaPo any time and support independent journalism instead.

January is sucking. Heading to Soda City in the rain hoping enough people will be there to make back booth fee.

Was there someone famous in Columbia today? A politician? Someone who requires multiple security vehicles and 4 fire trucks to block the roads so they can visit Sylvan’s Jewelers??
