We will shortly make an announcement about renewing our organisational commitment to working for the trans community. We have already started hiring. We know, and they know, that trans people are right at the cutting edge of fascism. What we can do we will do.

Many people will lose PIP welfare. I remind folks that PIP is not an out of work benefit it is solely and directly related to people’s needs. There is no purpose to these cuts except sanctioning Disabled people for being Disabled. These cuts are dangerous. They will affect you and your loved ones.
UK govt hits the disabled with £6bn welfare cuts.

4m people will face real-terms income loss.

Even those with extreme disabilities in the unfit to work category are likely to lose money.

Inflicting misery is a political choice.

Insist on meeting your MP to protest.

When the global community thinks what is happening in America doesn’t affect them I will simply present this one example for comment.

Masses of medical & scientific research is under threat. This will adversely impact much needed global data & studies that the world needs to advance healthcare.
Cancer research. Children’s health. Heart disease.

This is what’s at stake.
Johns Hopkins officials said the NIH funding cut puts at risk approximately 600 current and ongoing clinical trials at Hopkins, including open clinical trials in cancer, pediatrics and children’s health, heart and vascular studies and the aging brain. www.thebaltimorebanner.com/education/hi...

Americans 504 is under attack and therefore so are your human rights but perhaps more importantly here is a thread on what you can do about it before you can’t do anything at all… www.linkedin.com/posts/rebecc...

If anyone in the USA is under any disillusionment that this is not a fundamental threat to your own rights and that of your loved ones then please ask yourself…

After moving in here I’ve decided to practice what UR movement preaches - pacing and making more conscious choices on where we expel energy. For now I’ll be more active/vocal in our face-to-face communities. I will however re-share folk’s important insightful words + some key thoughts or drawings 🌱
