Investigations are now underway into officers and ICE agents who fired crowd-control munitions at dangerously close range. In case after case, the situation only escalated when force was used against peaceful protesters.

There are definitely violent thugs at the LA protests. But they all seem to be wearing uniforms
Incredibly chaotic scene here in downtown Los Angeles where LAPD have just charged protesters with horses while others fire munitions.

Today, we heard from Felecia, a single mom of four who works up to three jobs at a time to make ends meet. She counts on SNAP to help put food on the table.

This is who Republicans in Congress are trying to take food away from.

Listen to her story.

On June 14, my friends and I will give away reusable cloth produce bags at the Sunnyvale, CA farmers' market starting at 10am. We sew these out of donated fabric that might otherwise end up in landfill.

Libraries are the best. I just placed holds on 17 books of crochet patterns and stitches 😌

This is your reminder that libraries are a great place to find resources for hobbies - some even have beginner kits (like yarn, needles/hooks) you can take out to get started!

I join the country in mourning the victims, including three U.S. service members and members of the figure skating community, who tragically died in the midair collision. I’m praying for their families and loved ones.

We must get to the bottom of what happened.
