Go Cougs always
Is there a single student at the game?

Definitely Jimmy’s fault Zevi looked like an 8th grade JV quarterback throwing ducks behind an FCS 2nd string o-line.

Am I the only one chalking the loss up to fatigue and not coaching? The penalties, mental mistakes, lower physicality in the fourth quarter?

What east coast travel? Wrong schools went to the big ten…

It actually super bothers me and reinforces why I don’t watch college sports outside of WSU anymore. Football is not so entertaining that you can’t look away despite the fucked up greed that implicates more than just a sport. A man will be paid $50 mil to do nothing that contributes to society.

Only three things preventing the cougs from beating the best teams in the country: (1) lining up properly, (2) catching the football, and (3) tackling

I don’t want anyone on my team who wears number 39 period.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think it’s as bad as the score looks. This one just spiraled after what will hopefully be remembered as uncharacteristic turnovers and imbalanced officiating in the desert heat. I don’t think they looked overmatched. “Random game,” as Mike leach would say.

Somehow this loss felt better than half the wins we got this season.

I don’t understand how any person with an ounce of self-respect goes to play for a rival. Beta Energy.

Sounds like we don’t have to worry about Dickert taking any players with him … what a con man.

I wouldn’t say that Dickert brought “stability” to WSU. I wouldn’t say that at all.

The thing I have a hard time with is that I can’t support the people involved in sports. Everyone is in it for themselves. It’s no longer about the team. This is seemingly true across all levels - golf, NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, etc. I’m sad that I’m apathetic today. Sports were my first love.

It really is just a farm system at this point which sucks and will likely result in my care for my alma mater eroding slowly without some serious reforms that no one has the stomach to implement.

College sports were my favorite because they didn’t feel transactional. There was a pride and identity to them. Today, why should I care if the school I went to has a good football team or not? I’ll always support WSU, but the love of the game got lost somewhere.

An early candidate for best Bluesky post of all time
Next year's Cal offense is gonna be great until the polio sets in.
Former WAZZU and Hawaii head coach Nick Rolovich has been hired by Cal as a senior offensive assistant.
