Michael Shea's Quest for Simbilis is a fun. It's very much Shea passably channeling Vance but there is plenty of recognizable Shea-isms in there. It reads like proto-Nifft. I'm having a good time with it.

@deepcuts.blog I had a dumb thought last night and thought you might have an inkling about if it holds any water. Might Lovecraft have been aware of P.T. Barnum's 'Feejee Mermaid' and what are the odds it influenced his inclusion of the 'Saouth Sea islands' in the lore of Innsmouth?

Giant. I remember Angemon and Angewomon being just as tall as Greymon and the rest. I can't find a picture of her with the rest of the OG anime crew but this should give an idea based on how big Angemon is. They all tend to get scaled down for the games though.
