I went to a newer retro store I hadn’t been to yet and they were trying to sell hunting games for the Wii for $20 (the kind of garbage I’ll occasionally buy for fun). there absolutely needs to be a correction on anything that isn’t Resident Evil, Pokémon, etc. it’s just going to rot on shelves

I don’t think it’s necessarily shrinking, but US retro games are definitely in a precarious position right now. I have 2 friends that own game stores and they are getting so much (good!) inventory because the economy is just crap. Good stuff will still hold value, the amount of filler is what hurts
