This is a good album, especially coffee or bookstore music (in a complimentary way). A friend of a friend recognized him at a coffee shop and he actually hooked them up with free tickets to his show, he's one of the good ones. Dynamo of Volition is really good.

Miss album covers like these. While many of these did get CD releases, many record/music stores were closing around this time, and the itunes purchase began to supplant the cd, especially in price.

A forewarning we should have heeded for digital video games.

Need a gal with good stank to ask me to go to a show like this with her.

I would probably last two and a half bands and then go start hanging at the bar and wandering around.

Square Enix really showed off a proof of concept for Kingdom Hearts 4 THREE YEARS AGO ALREADY with Sora's feet fully on display and then proceeded to make no mention of it since.

Can anyone tell me if this is mold? It is on the clear plastic part, not the tape. Less noticeable in person. This was a sealed VHS with a small hole in the cellophane. I know sealed VHS are often more susceptible to mold. Just opened it - All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 from 1996. #vhscollecting #vhs

Went down the iceberg of Anne Rice and her controversies and made me sad. But now I understand the reference from Scooby Doo Music of the Vampire.

LOVE these turn-of-the-millennium vending machines. These are at an outdoor mall so it’s a little surprising they’ve held up so well. #vendingmachines #deadmalls

Thinking about the last? time I was at my childhood mall in Dec 2019. It’s still standing but hardly has any stores. This movie theater has since closed. It’s weird to think we’ve come so far in this time.

Me listening to Depeche Mode right now. Funniest thing is they had a character like this in Sonic Boom.

Just used the i/Tunes store to download some songs. Yes in 2025. Feels a lot like the PS3 store, slowly crumbling away. Or the Wii U store when it was online. Also, check this typo on Bananarama. They were coming to us from the future!

Here’s some photos I took of the Electronics department in Toys R Us in Fall of 2018. If I see correctly, one of the “R-Zone” banners from the n64 era WAS STILL THERE in 2018 - it was just hidden behind other banners and revealed a couple months before closing!

Your art is the best Gwen. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a deep sea special exhibit and I highly recommend. They have elephant fish.

Currently listening. I can tell you Jet Set Radio would sound very different if this album never released.

Hot take on this one - it feels much more like a game for fans of Ikaruga than say Golden Axe or Magic Sword. While you are a character walking on the ground, the way the character projectiles work is much more similar to when I tried Ikaruga (or other shoot-em-ups). The enemies are relentless too.

Cool concept, but kind of disappointing. Maybe the idea was that the three different characters would be like Final Fight or something. The characters feel too large and heavy, while the enemies are super fast and hard to avoid. A pitfall of many Genesis and SNES games.

The location for Opoona is very nice - like a mix between the spaceship in Wall-E with the vibrant, upbeat futurism of Space Channel 5, but the gameplay seemed like a slog to me - the little robot character has to go in between a bunch of floors and elevators in what is essentially a DMV office. 😆

Here he is! Interesting that the plush has a 2003 date but still mentions the Dreamcast.
