Here’s my DOGE story-

Trump cannot pardon Peters because she was convicted on state charges. The DOJ has involved itself in her appeal and is investigating her prosecution (by a GOP DA). Trump called the case "a Communist persecution by the Radical Left Democrats to cover up their Election crimes."

NEW: President Donald Trump directs the DOJ "to take all necessary action to help secure the release" of Tina Peters, calling her a "hostage." The former GOP elections clerk serving a nine-year sentence in Colorado for tampering with voting systems. #copolitics

I may be the only lawyer targeted by Trump willing to speak on camera, but for me it wasn't a choice. All of us have an obligation to speak out against what Trump is doing. All of us have an obligation to fight for democracy. I am fortunate to be a lawyer and to have a platform -- and I will use it.
