You know how action movies get shitty reboots after 20 years?

The Trump administration is feeling a lot like that for the Deline and Fall of the Weimar Republic.

We in Europe remember that Canadians died to liberate our continent.

In the face of Trump's madness, EU stands with Canada now!

There is no reason why EU membership should be off the table. 🇪🇺🇨🇦

When times are tough, we need all hands on deck. That includes, all levels government – especially the federal. We’re ready to do whatever it takes provincially, but Canadians need consistency from their federal government, regardless of what’s happening in Ottawa.

A) Not actually a quote from Sulla.

B) Fake quote or not, it should probably concern people that Musk is apparently reading up on Roman dictators.

If 25% of the population believed that a creature called ‘Glonzo’ caused high power prices by chewing through transmission lines, any competent politician would be negligent in not trying to find a way to exploit this. This doesn’t mean that these people wouldn’t be fucking morons.

Trump’s tariffs would hurt Canadians and Americans alike.

Canadians must stand united. Ottawa must respond with strength.

We’ll never stop fighting for British Columbian families.

It’s almost as if social programs benefit everyone…
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.

I’m still amazed people think Project 2025 isn’t going to happen. Nobody writes a 920 page manifesto and then at the very end says, “just kidding!”
