Classic Canadian government story: at the Picton Santa Claus Parade yesterday, our local Liberal MP was waving from his car. My 8-year-old son yells out, "Do you have any candy?" The MP yells back, "Tyler [the local Conservative MPP] is in the car behind me. You can get candy from him."

I think the Hudson's Bay Company should go back to its roots and just focus on beaver pelts. Nothing but beaver pelts. Just trapping and skinning thousands of beavers. It's worth a shot, isn't it? Elbows up!
