And here's a kicker – less than half the oil coming through the TMX pipeline is going to Asia. A majority of the TMX oil is actually going to the U.S. west coast - the very country from which this new proposal claims to liberate us!

So PLEASE, could we just move on! And invest in the infrastructure we actually need to hasten our transition off fossil fuels, leave this deadly industry behind, and create hundreds of thousands of new green jobs that are insulated from Trump and the U.S.

Late last year, PetroChina chose to offload its shipment commitments to TMX, very likely because China is moving on, with its solar capacity exploding.
