"Do your own research" as a policy fits perfectly within the right's framework, as all of the "information" that aligns with anti-science rhetoric is free and actual factual information lies behind paywalls.

New: Downers Grove (IL) Village Council tries to ram through a spring 2025 ballot measure that would divorce the library from the village. This was done without input from the library & without following process.
