There's a good chance there's people near you doing the political project you wanna do. They might not have your particular line or be making the particular thing you want to make, but they could if you help! And I guarantee that project will be faster and stronger than if you started a new one.

Maybe this is wholly inaccurate but it seems like the right is made up of maga / not maga while the left is made up of a whole spectrum from liberals to leftists to whathaveyou that all take turns vilifying eachother and idk if that’s helping the whole descent into a fascist state thing.

Protests aren’t just about telling fascists to fuck off, although that is good and fun, too.

Protests are about affirming shared beliefs, building community, and raising awareness. We need these precious things to sustain us . We need to know we’re not the only ones who believe in a better world.

On one hand - glad to see so many people and actions coming together against the fascist agenda.
On the other - notable lack of young people (heard the same from others in different geos) doesn’t bode well, and also I had to intervene against a creepy pervert following someone in the march. Ick.

may be beside the point/extremely obvious but i feel like you can only ignore extreme wealth inequality for so long before it metastasizes into something that fundamentally remakes and destabilizes the world by giving people access to so much money that they are fully above consequence
