Super Sunday. Good day for Football. Bad day for Chickens.

Indeed, every day is a bad day for Chickens. While you gnosh on wings today I offer this annual reminder that in the US, we lay, hatch, grow, slaughter, bring to market, buy, cook, and eat, one million chickens per hour.

A federal judge issued the order blocking Trump’s EO to end birthright citizenship, stopping it from going into effect on February 19.

The EO is in direct conflict with both the plain language of the 14th Amendment and over a century’s worth of Supreme Court case law.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
