'Mehanna lost her home in the al-Karama neighbourhood in north-west Gaza City, which was destroyed in Israeli attacks. Since then, she & her children have been constantly on the move.
“I can’t even remember how many times I’ve moved from one tent to another, from one shelter to the next,” she said.'
Mehanna said, "It has been another kind of war, one that every displaced family lives through, lacking the basic means of life. I have faced death with my children many times, not only from missiles and fire, but also from disease, hunger, the summer heat, insects, the cold of winter, and the lack of hygiene.” Last winter, her daughter fell ill from the freezing temperatures and the lack of warm clothes and blankets. “We shared one blanket throughout the entire winter, sleeping close together just to stay warm,” she recalled.

Explosion in a mosque in a school complex, at a time when it was bound to be busy, mostly with students. 😢 People should be free to practise their religion without fearing they will get blown up doing it. And students should always feel safe in school.

This is shocking! Mass trials for Palestine Action peaceful protesters, 36 minutes per person for prosecution, defence and cross-examination.
NO JURY and a Judge (each with their own prejudices) who can give GROUPS of people up to 6 MONTHS' PRISON TIME!
At a scheduling hearing on Wednesday, one of the accused, 72 year old Deborah Wilde, objected that these trials would be far too short to present a proper defence. Snow snapped back “I’m satisfied that the time is sufficient. I am not going to give more time. Your only remedy is the High Court”. As I am sure Snow realises, ordinary people cannot afford to go to the High Court. The worrying thing is that the trials will be held before judges including the appalling Snow, with no jury.

Examples of comments/questions which highlight the shoddy methods used by Centre for Immigration Control to get the 'results' it wants to, so it can paint a false narrative about immigrants.
University researcher here, I have taken the time to analyse the data provided by the freedom of information request and in realty the top 5 nationalities are: Nationality Number = % of 7798 British 4629 = 59.4% Romanian 308 = 3.9% Indian 193 = 2.5% Polish 128 = 1.60% Italian 113 = 1.4% It is very dangerous to manipulate data - from observation you are targeting non-white individuals which has very serious racist undertones. Can you please explain why in your calculation spread sheet you have 0 offences under British for 2018, 2019 & 2020 as well as very low numbers for 2021 & 2022? It appears that you have missed included the data from the Met Police report under "United Kingdom" for those years. This is giving an artificially low value of offences per 10,000 population for British people. Also can you please explain where you got the population of the various ethnicity's within London as none of the data sets linked for population contain a value of 12,000 Afghans living in London so trying to work out which sheet you got that from. How have you estimated the populations of each ethnicity? Your estimate for Afghan immigrants, for example, is about 3x LOWER than the current estimated population. I would like to know how you measured this total for each ethnicity? 2) The current migrant population of London is estimated to be 40% (according to the 2021 census). Why does your article suggest it is 25%? 3) How have you adjusted the offences for repeat offenders being counted multiple times? 4) How have you adjusted the numbers for increases in population?
