Our leaders should be role models for our children... but we live in deeply dangerous times.

Cancer treatments for children are not up for debate among people who have no expertise or experience. Giving puberty blockers to cis children with early puberty is not up for debate among people with no expertise or experience.
We are manipulated into fear/anger over this & think it's a debate.🤷🏼‍♀️

Being trans isn't a choice. Listen to trans youth. They know how desperate they feel, how much suffering is involved, and in some cases they can't bear to live without care. Proper care, sometimes involving medication, has positive outcomes. It's bizarre not to listen to experts on this.

Unfortunately many people live in poverty here, who feel they've been treated badly for many years - ripe for radicalisation by Farage & his ilk - and they're right, inequality is growing with the richest ever more greedy. They need to see improvements fast. And facts about immigration blasted 24/7!

The parents, children and experts make the decision and just as I wouldn't interfere with their decision of a child having medical treatment for anything else, I wouldn't presume to do so here.

There’s still intentional bias and lobbying in the BBC - just not in the way that’s reported…

Emily Maitlis brags about her, Deb Cohen, and Hannah Barnes getting the Tavistock GIDS service shut down.

What she doesn't talk about is how Newsnight journalists manufactured outrage and concocted "scandals" based on unethical journalism - which they were called out for, but tried to hide...

Of course NONE of this was ever reported in the UK mainstream news media - which has become even more trans-hostile since these articles were published.

The only publications reporting on this scandal are LGBT media or international platforms - Not read by politicians, judges, or policy makers!
Researchers behind ‘controversial’ puberty blockers study slammed by BBC’s Newsnight cleared of any wrongdoing

If you want to read more about how BBC Newsnight actively worked as agents of anti-trans propaganda - platforming misinformation and working as a lobby platform to influence anti-trans policies - you can read more from the excellent @simonwhitten.bsky.social here:

In most parts of life it's unnecessary. And it's not used. But when discussing trans people and needing to refer to people who are not trans within that discussion, the word 'cis' is appropriate.

Hate seeing the Welsh flag used in this way. To be the oppressor is against everything it means to be Welsh. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
