Cuomo did a lot of good. And he appropriately resigned in disgrace. He deserves gratitude and anger. Both can be true, since people are complicated, people in public service often moreso (Pete Buttigieg being the exception.)

This is journalism done wrong: both-sidesism. It's a lazy way to avoid favoritism and appear fair and balanced. A journalist's obligation is first to the truth. Don't report one side says it's raining while the other claims clear skies. Your job is to look and tell us what the sky really is doing.

I couldn't agree more, and I'm glad you and your friends could do some good. I'm just mourning our society that makes us go over and above to keep friends and family healthy where other western societies take care of that problem for us with our taxes instead of upgrading our stealth bomber fleet.
