NYE1999 as I waited for my Y2K midnight skydive at a strip club with a coworker, she said she always wanted to hold a dick while he peed. I tipped the bathroom attendant for privacy and tried, but I just couldn't make it flow. She thanked me for trying, I thanked her for holding my dick.

Mary & I had the pleasure of joining the studio audience for The Late Show w/Stephen Colbert in NYC. Great show, super fun music performances. Only weird thing was the security guys posted at the corners of the Ed Sullivan theater. Was a little off-putting, I kept worrying I might do something sus.

Over the weekend this college in New Port Richey thought it best to ignore President Carter and fly the flag at full staff. I disagreed and dropped it to honor the president who served his country in a Navy uniform.

We're giving it a try, raising potatoes and garlic in our garden. Any move toward food self sufficiency is a step in the right direction. Next attempt: strawberries!

When I look at this Nativity silhouette I see two T-Rexes fighting over a table saw. So I got an ornament to recognize my vision of the holidays. Does anyone else see the dinos fighting?

My honey isn't just a doctor, she's a musician. Specializing in keyboard, she's trained in piano and accordion, and starting at 13 years old was playing for money at polkas! She's so busy she hasn't played since 2017, but we begged and she gave in during NYE.

I gave our kitties a treat by making catnip tea and putting the tea in a diffuser. Bruiser Apollo was the only one brave enough to investigate. He felt overcoming his trepidation was worth it. (The others are curious but keeping their distance for now.)

When Finns earn their PhD they are also confered a sword. My Mary never got her sword, so I found one for her. She's concerned that clients will see it hanging in the background when she's in session and be bothered (not sure why) so I'm positioning it out of their sight but within hers.

Hurricane Milton struck the Tampa area in October 2024. We made it with almost no damage. A branch of our oak grazed my beloved Chevy Bolt with just a little dent and scrape. We were lucky, avoiding the flooding that damaged houses closer to the Gulf.

Thoughts of my cat Princess: "A little privacy please? I don't watch you in the bathroom... Okay but that's different."

We ride our tandem trike on the Pinellas Trail and noticed a lot of residents of Dunedin put chandeliers in their front yards. My significant other admired them, saying she wished we could have one too. Six months, hundreds of crystals, and four separate lighting rigs later this graces our tree.

My significant other was born in Detroit to an unwed mother. Four days later that mother dropped her infant into a pew at the back of the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Picked up by two nuns and named "Mary Church." This is her, 72 years later.

Fresh from our garden, a burst of heat and flavor for our breakfast omelettes! My significant other bought me this lovely cutting board from an art show here in Palm Harbor. She also raised the peppers (I harvested them.)

My Covid-19 project: replace the dirt paths with appropriately-wide pavers, stabilized with sand and locked in with concrete. That green thing was where we put veggie scraps to mulch, but we upgraded to a much larger bin. The right pic is a view of pavers winding through the north garden.

I worked as an Enumerator on Census 2020. They gave me this nifty mask, but I provided my own boonie hat, circa Desert Storm.

Reading a book and petting a cat.
Life doesn't get any better than that.
(RIP old man Yukiko. I miss you bud.)

"I think some things you do or believe are silly. Silly can be a good thing (with limits). I will defend your right to be silly." Said while I'm jumping off a bridge.
