Unfortunately the messaging will be: "well if Biden hadn't driven the national debt up you could have kept your hospital".

And folks will believe it.

16% of suicides are attributed to a financial problem.

Are we talking about this? I think we should.

Otherwise, let's just start making hats now.
Hey, never forget, it's ok to critique the candidate you voted for.
Some days I think about all the far Leftists who spent the entire 2024 presidential campaign on performative outrage against Kamala Harris, and wonder if they think it was worth it.

Clerked a yard for IKEA for two years. This is so utterly unnecessary, I have no explanation who was asking for this but racist folks thinking someone took their job.

Also, we don't have enough truckers to begin with, it's utterly unhinged.

Most stats show 80% want manufacturing work to come back, but 80% don't want those jobs.

I wonder how that latter stat shifts as you ask rural communities.

Got any data, @ryanburge.bsky.social?

I dream of a day when neo-liberals understand this.
I'm not saying I wanted Joe Kent.

I'm saying Marie sucks too.

If your whole sales pitch is "at least I'm not a full-blown fascist," you're still selling garbage, just with less screaming.

Expecting better isn’t the same as rooting for worse.

I know how annoyingly liberal this sounds, but it's in no small part due to racism.

Not many value systems that lead a group of people to shoot themselves in the foot if it means hurting those they deem undeserving like racism.
They neglected to mention that The Bible Belt is also the pornography belt and the welfare belt.

I live at the left side of that t

Yikes!

Surprised the guy that promised to end the genocide in Gaza, that the invasion of Ukraine never would have happened under his watch, would now allow the conflict arising in Kashmir...

Starting to think he lied on his resume.

Nice to see we're doing due process again at least.
After being advised of the charges, her rights, and possible penalties, Judge Dugan was released on bond.

Her Preliminary Hearing/Arraignment and Plea is set for 5/15/2025 at 09:00 AM in federal court.
UPDATE (12:27 pm ET):

Per the criminal complaint filed against her, Judge Dugan is alleged to have violated two US criminal codes: “Obstruction or impeding a proceeding before a department or agency of the United States” and “Concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest."

Don't forget, even with interest rates at 15% three decades ago, and that sucks, homes were still affordable, allowing access.

Homes would have to average $250k at current rates to be comparable in cost.

Current average is at $398K 👍🏼

Again, they love death.

The "decimation of the Houthis". Not concerned about the defeat of terrorist organizations, bc that would also mean supporting the local communities affected by terrorist activities.

No, just bomb everything and make excuses later for civilian casualties.
Hegseth: "I don't have time for the hoax press that peddles old stories from disgruntled employees. We should be talking about the decimation of the Houthis ... Instead, disgruntled former employees are peddling things to try to save their ass."

I kinda imagine the usefulness of these actions by the administration is kind of the reverse of RFK's argument for there being an epidemic of autism.

If they remove the collection of data from the equation, it's going to look like there's less accidents, injuries, and deaths under their policies.

The context I have for this argument and method is that this is also how they approach scripture.

With as supportive as the evangelical church is of MAGA, their hermeneutic is right at home in its methodology.
I agree with this, and it will get through to some people.

But, I need everyone to understand that MAGA, and conservatives at large, believe the Constitution matters, that it's being protected right now.

This stems from a difference in interpretation.
I saw this, and I love logical analogies.
