I’m sure they could concoct some story about how scary a 1st grader’s costume was that they “feared for [their] life.”

That song is always sung, even if it’s about kids.
"Kids dressed in halloween costumes walking to a parade" do not present an immediate threat to law enforcement officer and riot control measures may not be used, Ellis says.

There is a reason why Mark:
1. Eliminated DEI programs & fact checking
2. Changed offensive speech policy (w/ S. Miller approval)
3. Donated to inauguration fund and hosted a party
4. Bought a DC home 2 weeks ago
5. Made multiple pilgrimages to MAL

Pay. To. Play. He wants the Eric Adams special.
Meta is on trial in DC today. The FTC is advancing a blockbuster antitrust case, alleging that Mark Zuckerberg's company illegally built a "social networking monopoly" through years of "anticompetitive conduct." But there is a big if: Whether President Trump will intervene. Here's my full story >>>
If Meta loses in antitrust case, it could be forced to break itself up by selling Instagram and WhatsApp | CNN Business

Good on them! We need more of this. I also understand and recognize they come from a point of privilege with a ridiculously large endowment that they can say no.

Other schools without that luxury need to band together and say no. Same with law firms. (Can't believe I have to type that last one.)
Harvard rejected the Trump administration's demands to change its policies to keep billions in federal grants.

Its president said the demands are unnecessary and infringe on free speech rights.

The university notified the administration that it will not comply with the list of demands, putting $9B at risk.

Paul Weiss, now Skadden. A dumpster fire. When lawyers are caving, it's the beginning of the end. Add JD Vance in charge of what's in the Smithsonian museums - carte blanche to erase history and culture...

Translation: "Change your admissions policy such that only white Americans can be admitted. Thank you for your attention to this matter."
Sorry, last page ran into word limits in alt text. Rest of the text reads: Deliver a plan for comprehensive admissions reform. The plan must include a strategy to reform undergraduate admissions, international recruiting, and graduate admissions practices to conform with federal law and policy.

Really realizing that his sixth strategy for trying to attain world-historical hero status is by punishing perceived domestic enemies. His power flows crush his enemies, delivering satisfying retribution for his supporters.
Taken together, Trump's five power flows: expansion, destruction, rule by Executive Order, unification as forced capitulation, and erasing inconvenient truths are an authoritarian consolidation of power in the person of Donald Trump. He has become, or is becoming, the Leviathan.

I would enjoy just one day when someone reached out to me to ask how they could be of assistance. Every email, text, call, DM, smoke signal, carrier pigeon I receive is someone asking me for something - time, money, free legal advice, etc.

I'm tired. I ain't got it and not good for it.

Nevermind this is wholly inefficient and the large scale federal gov. version of "a meeting about a meeting that could've been an email," but who is reading this? Some DOGE kid who is 19 deciding if the work of someone in the role for 20 yr made enough progress?

How are the decisions made?!
