As much fun as I've had with tiktok, it was never going to be my platform. It was for photogenic, charismatic, coordinated people. Which makes it all the funnier that the only thing I'll actually be permanently losing is this, by far the most-liked thing I have ever written:

Good old Mary Poppins isn't even phased by your eldritch baubles. Although she might just be an outside-context helper fae/whatever Tom Bombadil is, so I don't know if she necessarily counts.

I hope everyone who follows me is OK with me importing the closest thing to a brand I had on twitter: a heady mix of political anxiety, gushing about video games I love, and TTRPG design theory. Also the occasional picture of my sister's moody pup, Pickles.

So it's a Rockstar game, in other words. Rockstar has always had a reputation of being bitingly satirical, when really their point of view in most of their stories post-San Andreas has reliably been "everyone sucks, aren't we smart for noticing and pointing it out?"

I 100% agree here, and wonder if maybe using websites whose identities are defined by having to boil your points down to short, snappy, sometimes pithy statements hasn't made the business of organizing large political movements HARDER than it was in the past.

I am blessed (my cat allergy seems to have mostly disappeared) and as celebration have some pictures of my sister's cats, Sunny and Tulip (and my sister is there too. She's ok I guess)
