As much fun as I've had with tiktok, it was never going to be my platform. It was for photogenic, charismatic, coordinated people. Which makes it all the funnier that the only thing I'll actually be permanently losing is this, by far the most-liked thing I have ever written:

A pair of (apparently hand-drawn) posters in a window, that read "SAY PIZZA" "SAY NO" and "TO DRUGS" "TO YES" respectively, and have pictures of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on them as well. No matter what order you read the posters in, they don't make sense. If read from left to right, they say "SAY PIZZA TO DRUGS. SAY NO TO YES" which is the reading that brought this particular bsky user to tears laughing when I first saw it. It's probably edited, but the alternative is too funny not to be true so I don't care

I hope everyone who follows me is OK with me importing the closest thing to a brand I had on twitter: a heady mix of political anxiety, gushing about video games I love, and TTRPG design theory. Also the occasional picture of my sister's moody pup, Pickles.
Pickles, the mutt sits on a floral blanket. She has short fur the color of butterscotch and a little bit oc a wrinkle in the space between her eyebrows. Her Mama has embarrassed her by tying scrunchies around her floppy ears to make them stick straight out, and she does NOT look happy about it. She looks REALLY cute, though.

So it's a Rockstar game, in other words. Rockstar has always had a reputation of being bitingly satirical, when really their point of view in most of their stories post-San Andreas has reliably been "everyone sucks, aren't we smart for noticing and pointing it out?"

I 100% agree here, and wonder if maybe using websites whose identities are defined by having to boil your points down to short, snappy, sometimes pithy statements hasn't made the business of organizing large political movements HARDER than it was in the past.

I am blessed (my cat allergy seems to have mostly disappeared) and as celebration have some pictures of my sister's cats, Sunny and Tulip (and my sister is there too. She's ok I guess)
Sunny, a grayish cat with white socks. He is lurking behind a mattress propped up on the wall because he is a nervous boy and needs cover from incoming artillery fire at any given moment. It's hard to see in this picture, but he always has a look on his face that suggests he has done something and hopes you didn't figure out what it was. My sister holding Tulip up to the camera. Tulip is a fluffy cat the color of a toasted marshmallow, with a soft belly and pink toe-beans. We have decided that she speaks spanish and is very protective of her "frijoles" mostly because "¡no mama! ¡Mi frijoles!" is fun to say in a baby cat voice. She has an expression of quiet resignation on her face. If it were possible for a cat to say "well, this might as well happen" she would be doing so.

The new release I played the most last year was VAMPIRE SURVIVORS, which looks like THIS
