Temporarily embarrassed millionaire.
Ironically Paul Dano would probably absolutely kill it were he asked to play Quentin Tarantino in a movie.

If it turns out the Clinton beej thing is true, and that's what Trump has been trying so desperately to hide this whole time, it would be deeply ironic given that it's ethically speaking one of the least bad things he's been accused of.

Kind of funny how some elements need a whole five syllables and then some have a name like "tin".

Real testament to the progress we've made on LGBTQ acceptance that a messy breakup between two grown men has been at the top of the mainstream news cycle all week.

José Mujica—the former guerrilla fighter, political prisoner, philosopher, and Uruguayan President, known affectionately throughout Latin America as Pepe—died on Tuesday, at the age of 89. Jon Lee Anderson writes about the leader’s legacy.
Pepe Mujica’s Long Revolution
For the Uruguayan leader, a longtime icon of the Latin American left, economic fairness was inseparable from human decency.

I thought the Trump administration was against unfair privileges for immigrants, and yet *they're* getting offered $1000 and a plane ticket out of here while I'm not?

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board comes out swinging against JD Vance.

Indeed, key moment in downward spiral was Vance lashing out in response to Zelenskyy's point on diplomacy with Putin

WSJ: "It is bewildering to see Mr. Trump’s allies defending this debacle as some show of American strength."

Been getting a lot of people asking about LA geography concerned that the images they see means the entire county is on fire. That's understandable.

But LA is a big place. So, to give an idea of scale it's time to cart this out again. It's a map of LA with other cities superimposed on it.

Watched 12 Angry Men again for the first time in a while, honestly think we should look into organizing a collective national viewing of that movie right about now.

Democrats Lost the Propaganda War

Every time I see a Cybertruck, I try to imagine what prompted someone to buy it, and all I can come up with is as a way to show off your wealth??

Apparently people don't realize that the more you spent on one, the more proportionally damning an indictment it is of your taste and judgment.
