In 12 months, an extra 620,000 children in England will become eligible for #freeschoolmeals. Wales, Scotland and London are already feeding more children than ever.

But what if expansion of school food could also deliver for UK farmers and producers? ⬇️🥕 bit.ly/4nroz7j

Health Secretary Wes Streeting is fed up of being lobbied apparently.

Oh, but wait. Not annoyed by unhealthy BigFood lobby, no. But by charities like Royal #Osteoporosis doing their job to advocate policies to support public health.

Seriously?

Thank you Ellie.

Wondering if there are any brave (ex-)air industry or fuel industry souls out there who will step up & agree that sustainable aviation is an oxymoron.
I questioned Ed Miliband on Monday on how the Govt. could possibly justify airport expansion when aviation has such a detrimental impact on the climate.

Today, the Govt. confirmed their support of Heathrow expansion, flying in the face of their own climate scientists' advice🤦
Rachel Reeves has confirmed the Government supports Heathrow expansion.

Analysis from @neweconomics.bsky.social shows airport expansion is unlikely to result in 'economic growth' and it would blow away the UK's climate commitments.

Who exactly does this benefit?

PS Nestle reckon it’s 1/2 small tube or 16 smarties. A full tube = 22.8g sugar.
Quick, quick - you've only got until 8 December to submit photos of 'Children And Parents Enjoying Recommended Portion Of Smarties' to Getty Images.
