My large amaryllis is blooming. Every year I take a picture of my granddaughter with it. Got to take it on Thursday.

Catching up: some may remember the saga of my church's organ pipes being stolen and subsequently recovered last year. I'm happy to report that our organ is now fully restored and sounds great! We rededicated it just before Ash Wednesday.

This is a great pic. I love the night sky. I am not a photographer, so I don't get how you achieved the light in the foreground AND the Milky Way in the same shot? Don't you need super dark conditions to see the Milky Way?

I know this means Good morning from Maine, but I always read it as Good Morning from ME, referring to yourself, with emphasis! It gives me a little chuckle to go along with the pretty pictures.
