Astro Bot getting the GOTY award hopefully sends a message to AAA companies. A game full of fun and genuine charm, has a smaller budget behind it and has a smaller length that respects your time (8-12ish hours). It's a celebration of what came before by people that love making games.

On this day in 1999, 25 years ago, Pokémon Gold & Silver were first released.
These games started the second generation and had you travel through Johto to defeat Gyms and defeat Team Rocket before heading back to Kanto!
