Betty is the first vehicle I had to design in 2D, when I was hired as concept designer on the Bad Guys 2 film.
What Tom MacDougall and James Ng did on the 3D model is just amazing. Splendid work.

painting of 1932 ford custom. Illustration is fashioned after a model box with amt logo in top corner, "scale" in bottom left corner. Original model I painted from was a Revell, but whatever, I liked the AMT logo better. Not super happy with the way it turned out. I left much to chance in the drafting phase. There were some construction lines that were a little sloppy and I didn't notice until I was way too far gone. I also was very detailed in some places and kind of sloppy in others leading to inconsistent detail. On the plus side, there were many points while painting where I was using clean brushstrokes and felt like I had good control.
