Political prisoners, this is a disgrace. They are still there. This government is a disgrace. Get the word out.
Amu Gib is extremely frail
For 10 days the prison refused to acknowledge she was on hunger strike

Another prisoner, Qesser (20), has dangerously low BP + high heart rate, blocked from hospital care

They're political prisoners held without trial
They must be bailed and proper medical treatment 🇵🇸

@tomcollinsworcs.bsky.social how can you justify voting for a bill that will put disabled people last (again). They might have said there would be changes, but you voted for the bill how it was tabled. They should have pulled the bill and then reintroduced it with the changes. Clearly you only look

We urge our MP @tomcollinsworcs.bsky.social to do the right thing and join those of his colleagues who do not believe that cutting the benefits of disabled people to save money (while a wealth tax is not even on the table) is the right thing to do.
403 - number of Labour MPs
126 - number of Labour MPs rebelling on welfare bill

Why are the other 277 Labour MPs ok with cutting benefits to the disabled?

Shame on them

The Spending Review was nowhere near bold enough—Britain needs major investment in schools, NHS, social care, and warm, affordable housing. A wealth tax could fund part of this, and we could utilise borrowing for projects that pay back for the rest. It’s time for ambition, not caution.

Every time Labour move to the right they give permission to Farage to go even further to the right.

Right wing governments (including the current one) offer no solutions to the average citizen.

Forget them and support the Green Party, particularly @zackpolanski.bsky.social

Well said, @sianberry.bsky.social! Farage’s one and only interest is enriching himself and a very select few others.
Nigel Farage says we don't need policies to tackle the climate crisis?!

His vision for the future - bankrolled by climate-deniers and polluters enriches himself and depletes the finite resources we depend upon.

Our vision of green jobs, cheap energy and a liveable planet enriches everyone.

Labour have cut benefits for people who are severely disabled.

And are trying to out Reform in who can be crueler to migrants.

Reject the politics of hate & fear.

I should add that this is the wonderful @worcscomgardens.bsky.social and the purposes of this post (and the post about the post) is to: mark the flood heights, provide directions to key areas of the gardens and to offer something visually attractive to look at, once beautified by the resident artist

Finished this marker post for the local community garden last week.
The River Severn runs near here and several times a year floods quite dramatically.
Where this post stands can expect floods a depth of up to 1.6 metres, possibly once a year +.
This rather drab undercoat will be beautified soon

Today: The country is pretty much telling Keir Starmer it's time to cancel the state visit. The state visit it was disgusting to offer in the first place!
