Thanks very much. It’s an odd sort of a job. Pop-up books are also a staple but I also love making automata out of slot-together card.

Here’s another Totally Glueless automata from a while ago – The Magnificent Marble Machine. Made from slot-together cardboard. I recently assembled one to show at the London book fair and I would completely change parts of it due to learning so much more since designing it.

Here’s a cardboard automaton I started but never completely finished. Totally glueless so just push the pieces out, fold and slot together.

Here’s a Harry Potter automata from a few years ago. Totally glueless – just punch out the pieces and slot them together. Designed and illustrated by me.
