I feel like bluesky scrapes by on seeming 1% less rancid than the other options which might be true but we can’t memoryhole the fact that a lot of social media was pretty normal like 4 years ago?? By comparison bluesky seems absolutely awful it’s just that literally everything sucks now

I’ll be on bluesky till there’s something better in like 45 years. but also we must all hold hands and remember that twitter banned trump from the website in like 2021. It had basic safety features. Locked accounts. Even the worst options used to be better than this and it wasn’t even that long ago

The fact a woman can have her financial access essentially blocked for making and talking about adult content while the president of the country gets exposed for child sex trafficking and the response is "whom amongt us hasn't done a little human trafficking?" shows puritanism is just a way to keep-
