We say that people don't notice constitutional regime collapse because it comes on too slowly but I'm not sure how much faster it could be happening; we are literally at concentration camps on day 9.

This is my favorite picture of Stonewall.
They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+.
Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.
I think about it a lot in moments like this.

the best thing about having dealt with addiction in the past is i have no illusions about social media: it is a drug. we are all addicted. the people who deny this are rationalizing the way people with addictions do that. no shame, but that's what all this is.
