Not sure if I’m right but personally I think the biggest dereliction of duty this transfer window is having a clear strategy to get in tall, physical players who can score from set pieces and then not sign anyone who can deliver a decent corner or free kick… #lufc

The work earlier in the window was good and encouraging, but if I pay someone to renovate my house and they do a great job on the downstairs but then fuck off leaving the upstairs half finished, I’m not telling them well done on a 6/10 house. #lufc

I am pleased the club have signed Longstaff, I think it’s shrewd business and he seems a decent, committed bloke. Plenty of experience and in his prime, lots of reports from Newcastle that he’s good for the dressing room so welcome to #lufc 💪
