Hey anyone in the science🧪 or #Disabledinstem Communities Used to reading Article pdfs With Figures and varied formatting, have any advice for tts screen reading for My buddy here?
What are The strategies You adopt? What are the things you would like To see improved In Publication formatting?
My ADHD and Dyslexia are disabilities that will never go away and because of them I struggle immensely trying to read these long DnD modules and having something like an audiobook for DnD modules would help me so much and probably many others like me

This is so cool!! I remember seeing a vendor at SFN24 that had VR goggles for mice and they called it “Moculus” 🥺🐭🤣
Our paper on MouseGoggles - an open-source mini VR headset for mice - just came out! Really excited about finally integrating eye-tracking into the headset. Nice working with you @hongyuchang.bsky.social!

Inspired by the z-like configuration of the solar arrays on the #DART spacecraft, which intentionally crashed into an asteroid, I created this one-of-a-kind pendant necklace 🛰️

Big news from Finnish publication forum. Almost all MDPI and Frontiers journals will be downgraded to level 0 and thus are not considered as properly peer reviewed trustworthy scientific journals.

I started fearing peer review a little less after The editor thought well to send one of my articles to Not 3, not 4, but 5 Reviewers
But it was always reviewer 2 That asked for Single cell RNAseq and rna scope due in three months😢
He's making a list,
He's checking it twice;
He's going to tell you in 20-something points how he wouldn't have written that article in the way that you did,
Or cited that particular literature,
Or prepared all those figures that way;
Reviewer 2 has submitted his report to the dashboard.

I have multiple years of help desk and troubleshooting experience, mainly with Windows OSes. Strong knowledge of Linux, Python, and CLI usage. Good technical writer, professional, and resourceful.

That's something people really miss when they talk about machine emulation of style. You're not just a floating mind w/ a printer attached.

Sure I can copy Pinzel for studies. But in *my own* work, my arm moves in the ways its practiced for decades. That has a huge impact on how it looks.

Following up on the previous #ArtAdventCalendar closeup photo of a Blue Jay's wing feathers with the actual avian artwork that is their tail feathers (also known as retrices).

Once again, the stunning blue color results from microscopic structures of the feather.
