I tried out skylight. The short form video app associated with bluesky. There's no in app video recording and a minute long video was more than it could handle. I might see of it's better in a few months.

It's incredibly emblematic of the modern Democratic party that Cory Booker wasn't actually filibustering anything, he took the record for talking, without actually stopping ANYTHING. Why didn't he do this during discussion of the budget? Or while confirmation of anyone was being considered?

I have come to accept a simpler and more general argument against billionaires: by their very nature they impose centralized planning over economy they infest, becoming de-facto communist planners, and thus impose upon their habitat all the pathologies that rise from impossibility of planned econ
