i was a nurse with Dr. Diane DiMaggio a long time ago, and in less-distant years enlisted her as our boys' pediatrician: she's the best, and her frontline witness to the ravages of vaccine-preventable diseases is an imperative read. those with knowledge need to be heard above the din of the madness.
Thank you Dr. DiMaggio for sharing your frontline experiences as a pediatrician treating children dying from diseases that we seldom see now because of vaccines

A Battle with My Blood: Tatiana Schlossberg’s essay in the @newyorker.com is the most beautiful, wrenching piece I’ve read in forever. And, oh, it cuts mighty close to the bone. You are in my prayers, fervently, Tatiana. From someone who knows this terrain.

Sometimes I think they spend all their time thinking if new ways to be depraved. No; scratch that. I think they do that almost all the time.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

The @chicagotribune.com has been home to plenty of American icons and journalism legends, and some mighty fine humans as well. Ron Grossman is all of the above, and this column confirms that in indelible ink. Love to you, sir. Farewell, and thank you www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/09/v...

"under-babied"???? sounds like a commodity you pull from a shelf. i know the grief of miscarriage, infertility; i never considered myself under-babied. that grief belonged in the realm of the sacred, not a commercial enterprise to be remedied by those who show little regard for the sanctity of life.
Dr Oz: "Turns out that about 1/3 families don't have the number of babies they desire. They're under-babied. So this president committed to address that during the campaign and he's delivering on that today."

VANCE: ProPublica is basically a left-wing blog
