Perspective matters.
I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Trump is selling F-35's to the Saudis, whose citizens brought us the 911 attacks (e.g. bin Laden) This sale after our own intelligence stated that the Chinese will likely get access to the secret technology of the F35 via the Saudis.
More winning.

For China.

He can call it a hoax all he wants. The Epstein files are sticking to Trump like a bad rash that he will never get rid of.

This is brilliant 🏆

What info has Trump used, all this time to blackmail Judges;
Millionaires; Billionaires; Lawmakers on every side; Leaders of countries; their pals...??? He is not 'untouchable.' He's an extortionist. Watch that game crumble, as the files drag Trump's piggybanks into hell, finally.

Repubs already refused to extend them. It's catastrophic because of repubs and the voters/non-voters. Dems not getting 100% magical undo button is not a dem failure.

Yup. Democrats are working hard to try to help the American people, including the ones out of work for the last month and/or who lost benefits.

Republicans have to choose between releasing the Epstein files and the American public.

And now, the Dems can fight for 22 million people's health insurance, WITHOUT having to starve 44 million other people to do that.

Ideally, the fight wouldn't be necessary at all. But we the voters didn't give a shit about health insurance last year. So here we are.

If you didn't want to have to choose between health insurance, airports functioning, food stamps, etc you should not have allowed a psychopath to be president.
Don't believe there is some magical good answer when the options are eating sheep s**t or dog s**t.
That is delusional.
Folks are so online they think performance is everything.
But the truth is that elections have consequences.
America gave control of the government to maga last year.
Scotus, White House, Congress.
That is the hard truth.
Keep the government open or closed.
Both options suck.

Republicans tell you they don't know. Since October 15th American families have gotten the real numbers on health premium raises. As ACA premiums climb double or triple, some plan to drop their health insurance and go uninsured. Causing all insurance to rise.

‘It’s only gotten worse’: As ACA premiums are set to climb, some Americans opt to go uninsured
Enhanced subsidies for Obamacare have kept premiums affordable. Absent action from Congress, they will expire at the end of the year.

You need to hide a Republican pay for play scam in government. Received and delivered.

As GOP governors deploy National Guard to D.C., they have the underlying policy backwards
Six Republican governors are sending troops to Washington, D.C., despite the fact that crime rates are higher in their own states.

Americans know little of their own history, less of that of other countries. Cambodia would be a useful start. In 1975, the Khmer Rouge took over and destroyed this once-lovely country in the name of a destructive ideology. Trump/MAGA is our Khmer Rouge. Read about it. Our destruction has just begun

this is the level of funding where all the possibilities for American politics that have been described as hyperbolic over the past decades - the comparisons to Nazi Germany and other nightmares of the 20th century - become logistically possible and politically likely
If the GOP reconciliation bill passes, ICE gets through FY2029:

- $45 billion for detention, on top of the current annual budget of $3.4 billion
- $14.4 billion for transportation and removal, on top of the current annual budget of $750 million
- $8 billion for hiring/retention
- Billions more.

Traditional estimates say that Trump’s tax package will add about $4 trillion to the national debt. Senate Republicans have slashed that number by changing the way Congress does its accounting.
