It's at least got Martin Gero as the showrunner and a bunch of other producers/writers already attached so there's reason for optimism.

if you think the problem is that the democratic party is too extreme rather than our current media environment privileges right wing bull shit then you have no real business discussing politics in public

And let me be clear -- I wish on JK Rowling everything that she wishes upon trans people.

Which is why I think it is important to state, early and often, that trans rights are a red line for me (and I hope for many of you). Push Democrats to nominate someone who doesn't sit around doing podcasts where he nods along with anti-trans ghouls.

I honestly think it's way too early to project a nominee. I don't think it will be "Donald Trump who found a loophole to run for a third term as long as he registers with a different party and is now a (D)". But we better fall in line.

Do you see how stupid you sound?

Related, I see a lot of gnashing of teeth at how similar Ghost of Yotei looks to Tsushima. Like, yeah dog, Tsushima came out in 2020. Do you -want- every game to take eight years? Sometimes iteration is the cure rather than a symptom.

We are watching the billionaire technofascists use their AI pets to rewrite history in front of our very eyes. Never assume AI is some kind of neutral tool. It is a fascist tool and anyone who doesn’t get this at this stage is a fool.

If Zohran had lost, everyone would say it was because his pro-Palestine politics alienated voters and were out of step with the Democratic Party. So the fact that he won is a reflection that voters at worst don't care about and at best actively support solidarity with Palestinians.
