It's always the "sick relative" bollocks.

What is it about having a sick relative that makes them scroll through their emails in traffic?

I feel like the narrowness of that pavement on the left and the limited space on the right will create conflict.

Thank you for the clarification. I think there is a dropped kerb that makes it look like that’s the place to cross and that guides cyclists through the red line. But yes, needs a sign there to make clear.

Thanks for the reminder. That is the bit that I always tend to forget.

He should spend a bit more time celebrating The Road Traffic Act (1988). I might get RTA1988 as my new reg plates. In 4-D large printed text obviously.

Too many pedestrians also only see the green light and go and assume that all the cyclists are jumping the light.
So you end up with people like this shouting abuse at parents on bikes with kids.

Could this please be raised with the relevant council officer/councillor?

It's this junction here. Cyclists coming from the right (Blue arrow) are told it's safe to go but pedestrians from the left (red arrow) are also told it's safe to cross.

Luckily, I'm willing to slow and give way, but too many cyclists only see the green light and go.

No it won’t. It hasn’t done for the last 15 years and it won’t do now.

I really liked this. In the article you mention gadgets that can be used from your dynamo to power USB stuff during the day. I’m very very non-tech savvy, could you please elaborate on what these are? Are there any good ones you’d consider?

Indeed. The Met had every opportunity to address it. No idea why they passed on this chance.
