How can we expect parents to let their kids ride to school if this is how their neighbours drive towards them? He's five by the way .
Your regular reminder that it’s super quick and easy to grab some envelopes from work, write this address on it, pop it in the postbox and cost the local party some money.

Also works for other parties.

It’s actually amazing that these people are able to put shoes on their feet in the morning.

A packed car park. No empty spaces and this arsehole throws their car across two spaces.

This guy dropped his phone fast when he saw me in his wing mirror.

Fast. But not fast enough, you've got to close your legs, brother.

6 points and a fine will be in the post as a Black Friday treat for him.

Maybe next time he'll resist his urge to scroll social media whilst driving.

I love cycling in London. You get to have such interesting chats with interesting people.

I hope I get to see this driver again soon in a nearby Magistrate's court.

What is it about driving along whilst using your mobile phone and a PCN stuck under your wiper blades that makes me think that this driver hasn't learnt their lesson and really should be removed permanently from our roads?

Hi, @kingstoncycling.bsky.social,

there's a real problem with the junction coming from Old London Road towards Clarence Street that regularly causes conflict between cyclists and pedestrians.

Both sets of pedestrian and cyclists lights are green at the same time.

Who would have guessed that a driver who daubs this on his work van would drive like an entitled selfish prick?

Notice of Intended Prosecution confirmed as in the post to this driver so at least that will give him something to think about next time.

Ignoring for the moment that they admit they saw the cyclists, the fact is it really is a VERY good idea to have lights on your bike at night. To see, or to be seen? That is the question Lights broadly fall into two categories: lights to allow others to see you, and lights that allow you to see where you're riding.

This is why I hate centrists so much.

They think showing reform voters that Farage is a nasty piece of shit will bring them “back” to the Lib Dems.

Reform voters WANT a nasty piece of shit. The fact Farage is a shitbag is a major part of his appeal.

Quite hard to explain how this driver got a "001599" (warning letter) rather than a "001504" (full prosecution) from the Met Police.

A driver this careless WILL get caught again. It's only a matter of time.

And sometimes they're totally oblivious, so you have to give them a little tap on the window for their own safety.

The best thing about spending two weeks in China is the social media detox that is forced on you.

It’s actually crazy how little I thought about or used my phone over the last two weeks.

I doubt I opened my phone more than once a day other than to check the map app.

Vlaidimir Putin, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Yuri Gargarin, your boys took one hell of a beating
Yet more signs that Labour are finished as a national party and that vast swathes of this land have a clear progressive majority and will reject right wing bollocks when given a proper choice.

In case you're wondering, yes, the Met Police will prosecute a motorcyclist for both wheels being over the line on a red light just like this.

I see it so many times and rarely report it but it's definitely worth it.

Yet again an example of 2 out of 3 drivers using their mobile phone whilst driving.

Remember, these are only the ones that we catch. Imagine how prevalent the actual use of mobile phones is.

We only need to catch them twice in 3 years to get a ban but even being caught once is very expensive.
October 21, 2025 at 9:46 AM
Sometimes it really is scary how widespread mobile phone use is amongst drivers.

Thankfully, lots of cyclists run cameras and the Met has already received nearly 23,000 citizen-reports for traffic offences this year.

Here are two of them that resulted in a move to prosecute.
October 20, 2025 at 3:03 PM
All the car-brained idiots will claim that the drivers we catch whilst they're stationary don't actually use their phone whilst moving.

They're wrong. We often see drivers on their phone whilst moving but we catch them once they're stationary.

On the extremely unlikley chance that anyone recognises this cyclist, please get them to contact me as the police have confirmed they're moving forward with a prosecution for the driver so I could use a second witness if it goes to court.
I hit a milestone today

This was my 1,000th traffic offence report to the Met Police. And I've got a 78% success rate. so 780 drivers have received warning letters, points, fines and dates in court. I've been to court 15 times with two more lined up over the next 6 months.

Here's to the next 1,000

I’m hearing that Jews are banned from this game for their safety.

What do you mean Jewish Villa fans aren’t banned.

So you mean Israelis are banned?

What do you mean Israeli Villa fans aren’t banned.

So you mean Maccabi fans are banned?

Yes.

Then cut the crap about it being Jews banned.

Emergency services?

Vital public maintenance work?

Nope, just some lazy painters and decorators who think they have dump their van on the pavement to save them walking a couple of extra metres.

Every year I say how much I love the darkness on my rides home because it makes it soooooo easy to catch phone-drivers (it does, every year over the last 3 years my Oct,Nov, Jan, and Feb are my busiest months) but sometimes you don't even need the darkness.

Hello darkness, my old friend.
