Voice feminization surgery, check. Got it done on 3/19. Smooth recovery so far. Am on mandatory voice rest until 4/3. Can’t wait to see what it sounds like now!

Just released memorandum from OPM:
Federal facilities will now have a bathroom ban for transgender people.
It will go into effect on the 31st.
It also has a slew of effects and puts into place the 1st anti-trans EO policies for every agency.
This will have a ton of impacts very quickly.

Today, I learned that it's not a good idea to get nail polish prior to surgery. It's so the medical staff can see the color under the nails and know how well your blood is circulating. Fascinating!
