Love has always been its own magic system, not forged but the forge fire itself. And you’re that molten ore of metals, battered, quenched, and tempered.

And I should explain: we’re a “did you eat” and bring you food anyways to show we love you more than we’re a say-it-out-loud kind of family.

But I realized maybe that’s the generational curse? Holding back I-love-you’s when you’re burning to say them.
