I think Bluesky posts should be called "bloops".
If it is 28,000 years old, it was created around 26,000 BCE.

(I hope this is what you asked for? I took "my brain does not do numbers" literally and did the subtraction 28,000 - 2,000 = 26,000 for you. I'm very sorry if I misunderstood!)

Last year saw my art get angry and bloody.

I’m just so tired of the world and the hatred of powerful men.

This year I’m focusing on writing my sci-fi story, which I’m trying to not make angry and bloody.

So the art will likely continue to be the outlet of my anger.

Giraffatitan might also be a good start.

Older drawing from c. 2012/13. The great thing about it is that each time I re-share it, you know exactly whom the squishstain could represent.

I remember when I read in a newspaper (probably around 1992) that "sparrows are related to T. rex", I thought it was just a weird/funny fact based on some complicated scientific definition.

Years later I started actually looking at birds, and it was like... whoa, *of course* these are dinosaurs!

I looked at the replies specifically hoping for dog photos. Thank you for posting this one! You improved the internet and my day.

Thinking of my favourite dinosaur, the Triceratop.

This has so many details to admire. 😍 Right now I'm fascinated by that row of trees made of negative space (I think that's what it's called?) - just one of the amazing things you do in your silhouette illustrations, and it's always delightful to look at.

... I'm stealing this idea.

Plus you have invisibility powers!

Sometimes I'm like "where the bleep are they, I've looked EVERYWHERE, did they escape, did a giant bird take them", and then suddenly they appear somewhere among some plants and I remember "oh right, TORTOISE MAGIC"

Totally ok.
In the house where I grew up, the bathroom water tasted better than the kitchen water. A boy once mentioned in class that it was the same at his house, and the teacher said he was going to explain that later, but then he never did. Mysterious!
(The teacher is dead now, coincidentally.)

I'm reading QC with a one-day delay (my silly brain wants the comic numbers to match the days of the week "like they used to"), but now I'm really tempted to make an exception and read today's comic right now... :D

"Box of IKEA leftovers" is the most relatable thing I've read in a while.

"The Name of the Rose", although I guess the rationalist is only annoying to other characters, not to the viewer.
