A key aspect of transphobia, and especially transmisogyny, is that we never have the right to defend ourselves even when our lives are in danger.
The NY Post calls Jaia Cruz a monster for defending herself against a beating in public - the point isn't that they don't understand that she defended herself, the point is that the fascists believe that they should be able to kill us. She killed Hodges for assaulting her, and she'll pay for it.

This morning Mercy was telling me about a large racist group that still has thousands of members today, had hundreds of thousands of members in the 1930s, and until today I'd never even heard of them.

I'm on this too and want to say in crystal clear terms that bsky should absolutely make concessions for Palestinians in an active holocaust. Web dev engineers have on here made recommendations on how to do so a year ago. @safety.bsky.app stop facilitating the silencing of Palestinians
