I’m up because I’m sick, so I saw the lightning just now in LA which preceded an insane thunder clap. I would have assumed were being bombed, it was that intense.

There’s drama at our public tennis courts because they reconfigured some tennis courts to be pickleball courts and the pickleball people are pissed because there’s not enough space between courts. And the number of “we’re working hard to address your concerns” emails is hilarious.

Was just looking up if Advil is ok for flu shot pain and google reminded me of Reye’s syndrome, which featured heavily in my childhood as something that could kill you, and scarred me into never using aspirin to this day.

The flight attendants on our flight back from Vegas today were tired. They are tired of the public’s bullshit. At on point the flight attendant was basically in my lap as she argued with a lady who wouldn’t move her bag. I had my eyes closed to disassociate from the moment.

Exciting new neighbor that I've been hearing for the last couple of weeks - A GREAT HORNED OWL. I saw her this morning. I think she's chowing down on the rat buffet in the infested garage across the street.

Why did The Artist’s Way reenter the zeitgeist this year? I started seeing it in January, but it’s really ramped up. Just wondering how these things regain popularity. (I’ve done it several times! It can be very helpful.)

You know what I miss about working in an office, when you're leaving for an errand at lunch and you say to your co-workers, "I'm going to the bank, does anyone need anything?" and your co-worker says, "Pick me up a few hundreds!" And everyone chuckles or groans... now I just go to the bank.

We’ve been to Dewey Beach several times across 15 years and I never knew how close Assateague Island was! We drove out this morning and I got to see some ponies! Childhood dream unlocked!
