Last weekend, as my wife and I were driving home north from LA, we saw an absurd number of RVs, vans, and busses broken down on the side of the road.
And then it hit me, "oh, yeah, the burners are headed north. Hope they hid their drugs."

I wonder if companies that want "loyalty" realize that the best way to retain people is to provide good health benefits, pensions, vacations, and reasonable work life balance?
I mean, if you're not a teacher or a government employee, you probably would be surprised to learn pensions exist at all.

So I figure maybe it wouldn't hurt to drink less, but at least I've never been THAT much of a drunk.

There's a new app called "Coqui" that doesn't require a login, is supposedly created by immigrant rights activists, and allows you to report ICE locations and view them. Supposedly it's going to start including safe resources too, dunno how that's gonna work, but, could be interesting.
