Here's why we will not be doing cross pavement charging in the City of Westminster

1️⃣ We would become responsible for the safety of EV cables without the ability to verify this safety, for one because we can't know how they're connected to a domestic supply.

The point that @msrachelcooke.bsky.social and her fellow campaigners always chose to overlook when complaining that our traffic reduction policies lack legitimacy is that when our Dulwich scheme was put to the electorate in 2022 our majority doubled. Their campaign is profoundly undemocratic.

So after correcting the first article to clarify that the ebikers were the victims, they've now described a murder as an "e-bike crash" rather than a deliberate act of violence by the driver of a 4x4.
