The NBA was so focused on Jordan that ESPN was able to make a 10 part documentary about him 20 years after he retired. Lebron changing teams was a prime time TV event. Cant speak to the league when Dolph Schayes played, but I've only known the NBA as a star driven league

I watched Sorcerer over the weekend, and it takes a while to get to the actual plot, but when it does, it is absolutely firing on all cylinders. Just audibly gasping at each scene until the end.
My favorite Friedkin film has always been Sorcerer because I honestly don't know of another film that's better at raising tension. It's like each new scene pushes over its own set of dominoes, all while you're still trying to grapple with the wider game. Tremendous filmmaking.

Is this what it was like 15 years ago when the smoking ban happened? Did every restaurant owner that had to close their business say the ban was the reason they had to close?
Blaming the bike lanes (when the landlord raises the rent 30% and there were zero bike lanes or changes to your street!) on your way out the door. Classy! #a2council
