The name speaks for itself, but if you must know… husband, father, multi-degreed professor, tech and business strategist, country boy with city tendencies, too cold and OH. SO. COCKY. 🤙🏿

Imagine if George Carlin was still around today. EVERY SHOW WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT SINCE 2008.

@ubisoft.com, you all outdid yourselves with Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Outstanding graphics and rendering. Can’t wait to play the remainder of the storyline this week.

5 ⭐️s.

EXECUTIONER: Those are really gonna be your last words?

Lord, I pray for clarity. Mind is cluttered and without order.

You know it’s bad when you order five piece wings and fried rice from the spot… but the wings aren’t fried hard… and the rice is yellow.

I was about to blame the abolishment of #DEI, but honestly, people are tired.

Imma eat this and like it.

I think this might need some qualification because.... MY parents ABSOLUTELY threatened, TURNED THE CAR AROUND, and.... I'll stop right there. 👀

Yes, I'm frustrated because we didn't have to BE in this situation. Then again, James Baldwin made it plain:

I have to ask: Whose responsibility was it to put a contingency clause on our former President's 2020 run? Wasn't he supposed to be a placeholder of sorts as the Dems figured out their 8-year succession plan? I'm sure SOMEBODY floated that condition.... right?
March 14, 2025 at 11:49 PM
... and before anyone asks me why I don't run for office, I'm not wired for devolving point-counterpoint. You don't even have ONE time to raise your voice at me, especially if you're not nuclear to my family. Serving others must not include helpings of disrespect. Full stop.

Now look at us. Praying more than ever that we don’t lose our jobs and careers because principle doesn’t pay the bills. We shoulda been praying for competency in our leadership AND OURSELVES.

Stop playing the short game, people! Get the party succession plans in place! Think big!

Oh, and my generation has become that which we raged against… because we got good government jobs, 401ks, and seemingly comfortable. We forgot how to fight because we stand to lose too much. Damned if that wasn’t the Baby Boomer’s denouement.

My pain point goes back to 2016, and it ratcheted up four years later because they could not put together a plausible leadership roadmap. They also completely ignored the populist wave that the GOP easily rode to power.
March 14, 2025 at 11:09 PM
I honestly feel for some congressional members because they are saddled with some low-information constituents. Then again, some take advantage of the anti-intellectualism and populism… unchecked at the ballot… and here we are.

People don’t even know what to be mad over anymore.

It’s all messed up.

Not everything is made for… or entitled to… YOU.

Sit with that.
Allow it to marinate in your soul.
Bake at 350° if you must.

I get where people feel threatened when others come in and make inroads where they were unable to. Honestly, I cant and won’t carry that perception burden. Also, not everything is made for or entitled to you. Let me say that again….

Upon meeting a coworker for the first time, I’m asked all the W-H questions… and then for a copy of my resume.

What?

I was screened, interviewed, weighed, measured, found wanting (shoutout to “A Knight’s Tale”) by the hiring authority. You’re a lateral and asking me for this?
March 11, 2025 at 1:10 PM
I’ve always been the one who bucks the trends of corporate or organizational hierarchies… and the assumed protocols that go along with them. When leadership engages me, it’s from a place of confidence, relatability, and developed trust.

I usually don’t allow people to get under my skin, at least not for long, but playing office politics and modeling emotional intelligence are essential skills in these days and times.

Story time! Gather around, kids!
March 11, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Yanno… I kinda like replying to random people’s posts. It’s as if the cool, unassuming kids returned social media to a fun place. Dry wit, with some truth, and some of it stings.

George Carlin is still not smiling, but he’s approving.

Shoutout to all those rejoicing in Twitter/X being down… only to have our own BlueSky suffer a hiccup… and not even of their own doing. Keep wishing and rejoicing ill will on folks and situations. Next thing it might be is your J-O-B. 👀😱😳🤣

Good morning, all. I FINALLY know what I want to be when I grow up. However, I can’t tell you because you will try and succeed at it… and then I will have to start my design spiral ALL over again.

… and I have vertigo, so no. Just watch me make a perfect landing or mimic an airshow crash.
