I have to ask: Whose responsibility was it to put a contingency clause on our former President's 2020 run? Wasn't he supposed to be a placeholder of sorts as the Dems figured out their 8-year succession plan? I'm sure SOMEBODY floated that condition.... right?

My pain point goes back to 2016, and it ratcheted up four years later because they could not put together a plausible leadership roadmap. They also completely ignored the populist wave that the GOP easily rode to power.

I honestly feel for some congressional members because they are saddled with some low-information constituents. Then again, some take advantage of the anti-intellectualism and populism… unchecked at the ballot… and here we are.

I get where people feel threatened when others come in and make inroads where they were unable to. Honestly, I cant and won’t carry that perception burden. Also, not everything is made for or entitled to you. Let me say that again….

I’ve always been the one who bucks the trends of corporate or organizational hierarchies… and the assumed protocols that go along with them. When leadership engages me, it’s from a place of confidence, relatability, and developed trust.

I usually don’t allow people to get under my skin, at least not for long, but playing office politics and modeling emotional intelligence are essential skills in these days and times.
