Financial pledges to the Board of Peace are impressive. Can we pay overdue UN dues now?

There was a bipartisan, comprehensive immigration deal that was shelved for months as the 2024 election played out. This resulted in lots of border crossings. Who bears responsibility?

The administration wants to use admin warrants to enter homes unconstitutionally in order to get access to immigrants awaiting asylum hearings in big numbers to expedite deporting. Justice? Due Process?

Crowe is superb in the great film “Nuremberg” & it is a scholarly companion to Snyder’s “On Tyranny”…must see

Americans favor deporting immigrants who commit felonies not those who “jumped the line” & are awaiting asylum hearings. Big issue!

It seems very inappropriate to invite a man to the new Board of Peace that is invading a sovereign country

Key point in patriot Jack Smith’s testimony today is that the First Amendment does not protect speech in support of fraud or a felony

In the military judicial system, senior leaders understood how “command influence” could hinder proceedings. Do our political leaders understand this? Judge & jury in social media…

Child care supports parents’ careers, helps children, and boosts our economy.

Trump’s cruel, illegal funding freeze puts these vital subsidies at risk and blatantly attacks NY families because of his own grudges.

I applaud the @newyorkstateag.bsky.social for freezing these partisan cuts.
We won a court order protecting over $10 billion in funding for critical social services as we continue our lawsuit.

From childcare to shelter services for survivors of domestic violence, I’ll keep fighting to protect New York from losing funding and essential services.

Veterans Day honors those who proudly & honorably served. Memorial Day is for those who died serving. Re-naming Nov 11th WWI Victory Day is nonsense. Left out are surviving WWII, Korean War, VN War, the Cold War, Panama, Iraq & Afghan service often fought with restrictions preventing “total victory”

Interesting watching Blumenthal & Wicker debating military benefit of a pension, for service & disability compensation, for injury as “ double dipping”… really? Wicker says we don’t have the $…but a giant ballroom, nuclear dome, munitions for unmanaged foreign wars?
