Our queen was doing queen things in DC last weekend.

Peep @xghorror.bsky.social introducing Monique Dupree at the memorial for her brother (Thee Tony Todd) before a screening of #CandyMan.

We remember him and his legacy unlike some award shows. 😒

If you’re in the US, you can watch PBS for free using the app. There’s a series of documentaries called American Experience that’s really good—each is about a different event in history.

Go watch The one about the Gilded Age in season 30.

It feels so familiar, it’s genuinely eerie.

Shocking opinion from an author, I know but: when a movie is based on a graphic novel or book the name of the person who wrote the book should be f'n huge in the credits and be the first thing seen in the opening titles!!!! Like I know movies are hard work but we wouldn't be here without the book

To the couple at tonight’s University of Indiana screening of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE who were both seeing it for the first time and who were on a date — I love both of you and hope you go the distance.

I just subscribed to Rolling Stone magazine thru the Libby app. All I did was press Subscribe and the current issue was added to my shelf; I will receive a notification when a new issue is available. FOR FREE. Just cuz I have a couple of library cards.

It is March 2, 2025. My plan was to leave the world on March 2, 2024.

What a difference in a year. I still have bad days. But reasons to stay are easier to find each day.

Thankful for family, for friends, for library kids who ARE going to save the world. Once a library kid, always a library kid 💚

it goes to show how our small proximity to control and abuse of power has coddled us over the years
I take back every time I’ve ever called a dystopian novel unrealistic because I thought there was no way the world could ever actually get THAT bad.
